On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, Federal-Provincial-Territorial representatives of the Agricultural Outreach and Pesticide Management section of the PEI Department of Environment, Energy & Climate Action, visited the Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation for a tour of the facility with Interim Associate Dean, Dr. Aitazaz Farooque.
The tour included a presentation by UAV Pilot Luke Meloche on versatility and potential of Drone technology in the agriculture and agri-food industry. Dr. Farooque also shared the current applications of UAV for agriculture industry.
